2002-2019 Global AMSR-E/2 Near-surface Freeze/Thaw state (0.25°)
The file name is to be of the following structure:
XXXX_YYYYMMDD_PP_LL.h5
Each of the elements is as follows:
XXXX: 4 characters, Name of satellite sensor (AMSR represents AMSR-E or AMSR2)
YYYY: 4 characters, Year
MM: 2 characters, Month
DD: 2 characters, Day
PP: 2 characters, Name of the product (FT represents freeze/thaw status)
RR: 2 characters, Spatial resolution of data grids (0.25°)
Example: AMSR_20070125_FT_25.h5 represents the AMSR-E/2 sensors derived near-surface freeze-thaw status on January 25, 2007 with the grid spatial resolution at 0.25 degree.
